Sleman, Indonesia - The Jogjakarta Montessori Middle School (JMMS) Grade 9 students delightedly embraced the end of their middle school journey with a memorable End-of-Year Boot Camp on May 23, 2025. The event marked a moment of closure between peers before they officially graduated from JMMS and embarked on their next learning journey in high school.

The students spent the day with a series of team-building and bonding games at the scenic Griya Persada Argasoka Garden. As they participated in a warm-up game, laughter filled the air as they practiced focus, agility, and teamwork—setting an energetic and vibrant atmosphere for the day. The students also joined the exhilarating bubble football match, where they played football by wearing inflatable bubble suits and playfully bounced, bumped, and rolled across the field. It was a heartwarming scene filled with giggles, light-hearted competition, and cheerful camaraderie—just what they needed after weeks of intense final exams and project deadlines.

The enthusiasm continued with a relaxing visit to Suraloka Zoo, where the students walked through exhibits, interacted with various animals, and reconnected with nature. This segment of the day deepened their appreciation for the environment and relieved their feelings after the dynamic session.

This agenda became a moment for the students to tighten their bonds with peers and teachers as they also enjoyed meals together after the blast. It gave students a chance to reflect on their three-year journey of experiential learning, collaborative projects, companionship, and personal development as they move on to new learning experiences and friendship adventures

This End-of-Year Boot Camp reflected JMMS's holistic approach to nurturing not only academic excellence but also emotional well-being, social growth, and meaningful relationships.
