Sleman, Indonesia — Jogjakarta Montessori Middle School (JMMS) proudly reveals that JMMS E-FEST, organized by JMMS' Students Council, has returned to embrace the exciting, vibrant English and talent skills competition this year. This astonishing event encouraged elementary students to participate in various interesting competition categories that aim to embolden children's English language skills and confidence and stitch positive student interaction. This E-FEST was successfully conducted over two days, from 31 October to 1 November 2024, at Jogjakarta Montessori Middle School (JMMS) and invited numerous elementary schools throughout Yogyakarta. This year, the excitement was palpable as the festival day dawned.

A total number of 79 participants joined the JMMS E-FEST 2024, where the event kicked off with a thrilling spelling bee, storytelling, and singing category. The event was enthusiastic, where students showed their language skills and creative talents by spelling out a broad selection of unique words, storytelling from fantastical tales to heart-wrenching personal narratives, and showcasing their vocal abilities, delivering a stunning performance.

Children at the elementary level need a creative outlet to demonstrate their ever-growing language skill application and feel confident in using the language in public. Wrapped in a competition setting, allow participants to observe their skills to refine them better and foster confidence and self-esteem further. Completing the English competition, a bazaar held by JMMS students, where they sold self-made foods, drinks, and crafts, boosted by their entrepreneurial spirit, sweetened the JMMS E-Fest 2024 festive!
