Every December, Bambini Montessori School has an annual event which is called December Fiesta. Every year the theme will be different. In 2019, the December Fiesta Event’s theme was “A Special Day with Grandparents”. This event was held on December 14, 2019. We chose this theme as a form of appreciation to elders and also because Bambini Montessori School rarely involved grandparents in their events. In this event, we invited elders like grandparents to have fun gymnastics together with their grandchildren which were the students of Bambini Montessori School. Students were also encouraged to make art that would be bought by their parents as donations to Panti Jompo in Pakem. Parents were also invited to open stands that sold food or things. Some of the profits were also used for the donation. Not only that, grandparents and also parents could enjoy the students’ performance as they performed singing and dancing.
